The Santander Magazine born in 1930, in a time of profound social and economic changes in Spain. Its regular edition stops at 1933, although a last single issue was published last year 1935.
Its most prominent creators came to coincide with the people who, after closing the publication, They would found the Center for Montañeses Studies and his magazine Altamira. This can be considered the editorial heir of La Revista de Santander.
It is the motivation, along with our interest in this classic publication in Cantabria reaching the maximum number of readers., that prompts us to insert its contents here, recovered by various methods and origins (National Library, the Municipal of Madrid and funds from the newspaper archive from the Center for Mountain Studies), to which we have given a unified format and integrated digital indexes to facilitate searches and access to content.
